6月29日：華碩在台北W酒店舉行了發布會，推出了一款由周杰倫設計的N系列特別版筆記本。華碩董事長施崇棠和知名娛樂明星周杰倫出席了發布會。
華碩董事長施崇棠在發布會上表示：“華碩一直以來都以 '精采創新' 作為品牌之路的主要依歸，此次十分榮幸跨界邀請演藝界才子 Jay 化身設計師，為筆記本電腦帶來不同以往的呈現。未來我們將持續秉持這樣的精神，提供最讓人滿意的產品。”
偶像天王周杰倫，化身華碩電腦設計師，參與N3筆記本電腦特別版新品的設計，在該系列產品的外觀設計上融入濃郁 Jay 式風格，打造出了一款個性外觀的筆記本。杰倫也在發布會上講解了筆記本的設計和功能。
華碩N系列特別版筆記本擁有兩種顏色瑞迪施桃紅（這也是周杰倫的最愛）和金可供選擇。相比普通的筆記本，最大的區別是使用一個特別設計的外觀和掌托，身體的A面與“清華詞”（古藍白色花瓶）型圖案設計。華碩LOGO非常醒目，因為它是包圍模式；和掌托都標有“樂”式的模式，N系列筆記本視聽一致的定位，注意“J”字母寫上筆記本蓋子用書法由周杰倫的多次嘗試，最後選擇最好的，印在右下角的掌托是周杰倫的親筆簽名！
華碩 N系列筆記本電腦特別版，沒有創新的模具，模具依然採用了N43系列。硬件配置配備了英特爾酷睿i5 -2410M（2.3GHz的頻率/核心頻率高達至2.9GHz），2GB DDR3內存（最高8GB內存），提供500GB/5400 SATA硬盤，配置NVIDIA GT540M（1GB內存） ，14英寸的屏幕（分辨率1366x768）。

June 29: ASUS held a press conference at the W Hotel in Taipei introducting a Special Edition N Series notebook specially designed by Jay Chou. ASUS Chairman Mr Jonney Shih and King of Mando-Pop Jay Chou attended the conference.
ASUS Chairman Mr Jonney Shih said at the press conference: "ASUS has always been a 'Brilliant Innovation' as a brand in mind, having the honor to invite Jay Chou the embodiment of the entertainment industry genius as a designer, to share and present how different was it from the past for notebooks. In future, we will continue to uphold this spirit, and provide the most satisfactory products. "
King of Mando-Pop Jay Chou, the recent "incarnation" of ASUS designers to participate in the N3 Special Edition notebook new design, the product is designed into full-bodied of Jay's style, to create the appearance of a personal notebook.
ASUS N Series Special Edition notebook has two colours redish pink (wich is also Jay's favourite) and gold available to choose from. Compared to ordinary notebook, the biggest difference is the use of a specially designed exterior and palm rest, the body of the A-side with the "Qing Hua Ci" (ancient blue-white vase) type pattern design. The ASUS LOGO is very eye-catching as it is surrounded by the pattern; and palm rest are marked "Music" type of pattern, N Series notebook audio-visual consistent positioning, notice the 'J' letter on the notebook lid written using calligraphy by Jay of several attempts and finally selected the best, and printed on the lower right corner of the palm rest is Jay's autograph!
ASUS N Series notebooks Special Edition that there was no innovation in the mold, remains using the molds of N43 series. Hardware configuration is equipped with Intel Core i5-2410M (frequency 2.3GHz / Core frequency up to 2.9GHz), 2GB DDR3 memory (up to 8GB memory), to provide 500GB/5400 SATA hard drive, configure the NVIDIA GT540M (1GB memory); 14-inch screen (resolution 1366x768).
N Series Jay Special Edition notebook will first be available in Taiwan on June 30 mid-July, price estimate between NT32000 to NT36000, and from mid-July onwards will be launch in various countries.
